Lastly, the overall (process-based) communication flowchart (Slide 4) helped with risk management, mitigated roadblocks, and reduced information silos toward project enablement.

- Green Marketing Challenge — 2024 ➡️ I achieved “Ambassador level” in the Green Marketing Challenge from the United Nations System Staff College, the highest tier. I completed this to showcase my deep commitment to sustainability and advanced knowledge in promoting sustainable product claims. This training challenge uses the UNEP and ITC Guidelines for Providing Product Sustainability Information. Furthermore, I aim to continue expanding partnerships (like I did with the Innovation Alliance Council (IAC)) to continue learning, upskilling, and driving impactful solutions in the sustainable digital transformation realm, find new ways to use technology for good intentionally, and more!
- Module 1: Digital Transformation for Sustainable Development — 2024 ➡️ I completed the first module in the Digital4Sustainability Learning Path, certified by the United Nations System Staff College. This course integrated key digital transformation concepts with sustainable development, aligning with the CODES Action Plan. It gave me strategic insights on leveraging technology for the green transition, which is imperative in addressing climate change. The comprehensive curriculum, developed in collaboration with UNEP, GIZ, the EU, and CODES, has equipped me with a robust foundation to guide startups and nonprofits through their digital transformation journeys, with sustainability as the cornerstone.
- Module 2: Digital Sustainability for Climate Action — 2024 ➡️ Continuing my education in sustainable digital transformation, I completed the second module offered by the United Nations System Staff College: Digital Sustainability for Climate Action. This certification furthered my understanding of how digital solutions can contribute to climate action, emphasizing the role of innovation in mitigation and adaptation efforts. It gave me practical tools to apply technology in promoting sustainability and advancing social justice, enriching my capacity to assist organizations in integrating eco-friendly digital strategies and championing human rights within their operational frameworks.
- Module 3: Digital Sustainability for Biodiversity Action — 2024 ➡️ Continuing my education in sustainable digital transformation, I completed the third module offered by the United Nations System Staff College: Digital Sustainability for Biodiversity Action. This module gave insights into the opportunities and challenges of leveraging digital innovation for biodiversity action. Through real-world examples, it provided an overview of how we can harness digital transformation to protect and sustain our planet’s various life forms.
- Human Rights 101 – Certificate of Achievement — 2024 ➡️ This module developed by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) explored fundamental concepts of human rights and a human rights-based approach (HRBA) to programming. It includes an overview of human rights principles and systems, how human rights mechanisms work, common myths/misconceptions about human rights, and a first approach to an HRBA to sexual and reproductive health and rights and the three Transformative Results.
- Module 4: Digital Sustainability for Pollution Action — 2024 ➡️ I completed the fourth module in the Digital4Sustainability Learning Path, which focuses on Digital Sustainability for Pollution Action. Certified by the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), this course provided in-depth knowledge of how digital technologies can combat pollution and promote a cleaner environment. The training equipped me with practical tools to reduce the environmental impact of digital transformation projects, aligning them with global pollution control initiatives.
- Digital4Sustainability Champion — 2024 ➡️ I earned the “Digital4Sustainability Champion” title after completing the comprehensive learning path offered by the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This certification recognizes my commitment to integrating sustainable digital practices in various sectors, focusing on harnessing technology to drive environmental and social impact.
